Preferably perform a market-basket analysis, a decision-tree analysis (data mining) or a classification/regression analysis.
You can perform your analysis in RAPID MINER STUDIO, or IBM WATSON STUDIO.
Prepare a formal report in MS WORD that:
1. Explains how you selected the data to use in your analysis (i.e. what factors you used to select the attributes that eventually get included in your market-basket analysis )
2. Explains the process you used to pull data from wherever that data is/was located and into RapidMiner or alternative tool.
3. Identify and justify the type of predictive analytics you selected to conduct (decision tree or market-basket, or any other… etc.) and provide solid justification as to why you selected that specific type of analytics (i.e. what the selected analytics methodology / model is the correct one for the problem you are addressing).
4. Provides evidence (as images in your report accompanied by appropriate descriptions) that show the process or processes that you used in RapidMiner (or alternative tool) to perform the predictive analysis.
5. Provides well formatted but comprehensive results of your analysis . Results MUST include model scoring, model validation. Results should also include (a) cross validation or (b) model comparison where necessary. Results presentation MUST also include relevant tables and matrixes that show the results obtained upon model(s) execution.
6. Provides a complete text-narrative explanation of your results.
7. Provides appropriate conclusions (inferences) from those results (i.e. list at least 5 actionable decisions that can be made by some business executive/consultant based on the results you obtained from the analysis above).
