ise and then record your experience in a

Instructions:
1.) Read through the following webpage:
http://www.helpguide.org/articles/stress/relaxation-
techniques-for-stress-relief.htm.
2.) Try out a relaxation method mentioned in the previo
us site. You may choose whichever
technique you like. If you’re not sure where to start, I re
commend a guided relaxation from
UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center
or
Dartmouth Health Services
. The downloadable
exercise “Just This Breath” from the Dartmouth site is
a good introductory activity.
3.) You will then write a 1-2 page paper. First, provide a de
scription of the activity you
participated in. Then share your thoughts about it. How w
as the experience? While this exercise
is meant to help you to relax, it is completely normal
to have an indifferent or even a negative
response. Relaxation can be challenging endeavor when
we’re accustomed to living in a constant
state of activity. In any case, I believe it is import
ant for you to consider all your stress-reduction
options for this class.
4.) Finally, you will present a brief and informal present
ation of your findings to the class. #2: Relaxation Exercise
