conflict, poverty and suffering globally. Death and suffering like that occurred
during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the holocaust of the Third Reich, and
the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Examining the breakdown of communication
during the conflicts will reveal that excessive death and suffering can be mitigated
by using a holistic view of communication during crisis.
