Ken Ono Number Theory Math Presentation

Please see attached for requirements. The project is on Ken Ono. Please see the general instructions and address the questions below.

Ken Ono generalized an idea of the famous south Indian mathematician Ramanujan. Read about the story of Ramanujan (in fact, there is a movie called the Genius
of Srinivasa Ramanujan with Ken Ono in it), and tell us the congruences Ramanujan
noticed for the partition function; e.g., 5 always divides p(5k + 4) = # of partitions
of 5k + 4. Did Ramanujan actually prove these congruences? Tell us about the other
congruences, and those recently found by Ono, et al. There are some articles on this
which describe (in plain terms) what the idea was for deriving these new generalizations (e.g., in Scientific American). Tell us what a q-series is and some examples of
1
how they encode combinatorial information [this is one place where you could use
Mathematica!]
