write a 1-3 page memo on either a workplace issue at your internship you have experienced, or one you have witnessed. This can be related to things like poor communication, discrimination, lateness or tardiness, deadlines that are too strict, or even about holiday gatherings or positive feedback provided (or not). For the memo, you should take a pro or con perspective on some aspect of the issue you choose, describe its relevance to public health and your internship, and you should make 2-3 recommendations for action at your internship site.
Your memo should be addressed to your Internship Supervisor, and should illuminate the issue (What is important about it, and why? What can be done about the issue you chose?). Provide an analytical overview of the issue, using workplace communication resources from class or elsewhere. To provide the best policy memo, you will likely need to add at least 1-2 references. Please follow APA format since you have been using that during your time in the BHS program, and include references on a separate page at the end (the reference page does not count towards page limits). You may recommend strategies from the Jay Johnson video in the Workplace Communication segment at the beginning of the semester.
