KCL Using Blended Learning to Enhance Teacher Achievement of the Set Objectives PPT

See the requirement of the oral presentation. Compose a sample draft and make a PPT for the speech. The requirement of the presentation is below:

You will present a ‘blended learning’ proposal. You can think about your blend learning proposal from a range of perspectives, e.g. the perspectives of: a teacher; a learning technologist; a manager/director charged with instituting blended learning in a learning context; a student advising (academic) teaching staff or programme directors on how learner needs could be better catered for.

Relate your perspectives to a context, e.g. the context in which you work as a teacher or the context in which you study as a student and think of one or more issues in that context you feel may be positively addressed through a blended learning approach.

Propose a blended learning approach/design you feel can address the issue(s). Your proposal should not relate to a single lesson or lesson activity. It should relate to something broader and that has longer term implications. For example, it might relate to modifications in a syllabus, or to a rationale for introducing a new VLE into an educational context, or to engaging differently with a course book, or to finding ways of including parents more into homework activities.

You may propose a new blend, one that you would like to try, or make modifications to an existing blend, i.e. a blend that is already being used in your context. In the latter case you should identify ways in which you wish to modify/add to the blend.

Your presentation should last between 10 minutes.

Basically the presentation is a proposal. In your Part 1 presentation we ask you to

  •  describe the context for which you are preparing the materials
  •  describe an issue/puzzle in that context that you wish to address;
  •  identify the `blend’ that you feel will address your issue/puzzle
  •  identify ways in which the blend is appropriate to your chosen context
  •  outline the learning theory and pedagogical approach(es) that you are planning touse and show why this/these are relevant to the issue you are hoping to address;
  •  justify the choice of software/technologies you intend to use (e.g. a VLE; wiki; anE-portfolio; a combination of software);
  •  relate the above to supporting literature.
