Each team will select one company from the above list from their chosen industry or
substitute another one on approval by the professor. Any choices outside this listing
must be defended (verifying you can provide enough information to address the 10
decisions required for this assignment). The team will identify the industry, the
company chosen from the list to compete against, along with providing a background
history of the company.
The team will then create and name a company (including developing a reasonable
Mission Statement and Competitive Strategy) to compete with the chosen company
from their selected industry. The team must build a competitive structure against that
company for each of the 10-decisions. In other words, we must compete with this
company, so here is how we will do that with respect to Managing Quality, our Inventory
strategy, our Supply Chain Management structure, etc. The team will create a company
logo and brand your company products.
