Please view these front pages from Sept. 12, 2001, the day after the 9/11 attacks. submit a couple of paragraphs analyzing how each of the headlines (or photos, in accordance to what each page in the pdf is asking) differs.
Let me give you an example. Let’s say I am reading a story about a particular gathering.
One headline reads: Protestors march to bridge
Another headline reads: Rioters stampede to bridge
Which one do you think sounds more aggressive or angry? If you only saw one of those headlines, your interpretations of the events would be swayed to a particular view of the day, right? In analyzing these two headlines, I’d want to point out the difference between protestors and rioters. I’d want to address that marching and stampeding are also quite different.
