For the first assignment, you will compose a resume and job application letter suitable for applying to a
position that you are interested in. First, you will find a job ad online. I recommend finding a job ad for
a position that you are qualified for now. That way, all of the content in your resume and job
application letter can be based on where you are at in your career.
For this activity, you’ll submit a draft of either your resume or job application letter. I am looking for at least half a page of content, but feel free to give me a longer draft if you wish.
In addition, please select one category from the evaluation rubric you’d like me to comment on. The categories are: purpose, audience, organization, and mechanics. You can find rubric details on pages 3-4 of the Resume and Job Application Letter assignment sheet.
In sum:
- Upload a Microsoft word or PDF draft of either your resume or job application letter. The draft should include at least a half page of content.
