2) Answer the study questions included in the Module. (Don’t skip this step!)
3) View the video, The Neo African Americans. Ponder what you see and hear. Take a few notes on the most interesting sections.
In a cogent, well-organized essay, answer the following:
a) What did you find most intriguing about this film overall?
b) What is an example of “diasporic consciousness” you witnessed in the film? Be specific and fully explain.
c) What else discussed in the reading did you see demonstrated in the video?
Your essay should be 2 FULL typed pages and include appropriate detail. Use specific examples and in-text citations for support. List references of the assigned reading and video at the end of the essay in PROPER MLA or APA format. (If you do not know how to list a video, use the Purdue OWL for help).
