The purpose of this Individual project is to develop add costs and resources your project. This includes assigning human (labor) resources (i.e., people, supplies, materiel, facilities, equipment, etc.) to each of the work tasks of your project in order to accomplish them. Who will do the work of the task and what will be needed to complete the task? If you are the task manager, what will you want to have in place as you begin working on the task?
The Resources part of this assignment should be completed first before the cost portion. Resources provide the basis for the cost. Remember that you are providing a budget estimate. This means your costs must be within the range noted in the table below (for budget estimate).
Note: You are required to enter the resource costs into MS Project as part of this ITP-2 project. The MS Project will automatically roll up and calculate the project budget.
However, unlike in previous ITP deliverables, you may enter costs and resources for higher level summary tasks, if you choose.
