ITCC MOD 5 Mediation & Finding Common Ground Black Lives Movement Essay

I’m studying and need help with a Writing question to help me learn.

For Module 05 you should write in response to the following:

  • Who is your target audience (or audiences) for this argument? Be very specific, identifying specific groups of people, specific identities, or specific characteristics you expect in your audience(s). Who are you trying to convince, and of what? How so?
  • What common interests or values do you and your target audience share? What is one thing you both can agree upon?
  • Explore your audience’s main argument in opposition to your argument (What is one major reason why they might disagree with you?). Use at least one source from your research to support this viewpoint.
  • Respond to that argument using one of the three ways of responding outlined in this module’s reading (10.3 Rogerian Argument), and draw on the common ground you and your audience share. Use at least one source from your research to support your response.
  • Explain where you might include this argument in your draft. Where would it have the most positive impact on your audience?
