Use these prompts to create a 450-word response (about 1 page, double-spaced, 11 pt. font):
1. Summarize in your own words some of the major points in the lecture or film- you might do this by taking general notes as you listen. Please make sure to write about the full lecture or film so that we know you watched it from start to finish. Do not quote directly from the image slides – write in your own voice about what these ideas mean to you.
2. Select at least 2 examples from the lecture or film – it could be about a person or a specific building or neighborhood or a photograph/drawing/map of a project or city that you liked in particular. Tell us in a paragraph about why these 2 examples stood out to you. Please write in your own words.
3. Please include your name and the film or lecture number at the top.
It is fine to write a little more than 300 words, but do not give us a bulleted list of everything that you saw. The response should capture what you learned from the lecture or film and what you will remember best in the future about the material.
