You are the Prime Minister of Great Britain. A new Constitution for a unified European State has been ratified in all countries throughout Europe but yours, and the vote is to be put to a referendum for people in England tomorrow. The Constitution would require most of the familiar trappings of your government to dissolve, including your office, in favor of a new regional nation-state. In terms of benefit, the new European government created would be the strongest in the world, economically and militarily, eclipsing the Gross Domestic Product and military might of both China and the United States. What do you tell your people? Give supporting reasons for your argument.
