I was given the United States Federal Government Debt as my economic indicator and the assignment is to write a short informational report on the things that make my indicator important. MLA style Citations must be used for any sources you pull information from. No textbook necessary.
Report must be 4-5 pages of text (double spaced, 12 inch font)
Report Must Include:
– 1 table of indicator statistics for recent years (Drawn from Bureau of Economic analysis, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Federal Reserve Bank or another original source)
– Explain who uses the indicator
– What does this indicator measure?
– How often is the United States federal government debt reported?
– Where is it reported?
– What agency is directly involved in producing this indicator?
– What are the issues with using the federal gov’t debt as an indicator?
– How do people misinterpret the indicator? (if they do at all)
– How does this indicator fit within a larger system of indicators or framework of analysis?
– Is this indicator a composite indicator? (e.g. a combination of two or more sub-indicators)
– Employ this indicator in a comparative evaluation or statistical computation (more notes in attached document)
