I need to write a one page single spaced regional overview paper. This is due tomorrow Monday at 10:00 AM

Here are the instructions:

Writer Perspective: You are outsiders working closely with an established company. Your task is to recommend the best region for your company to have an “increased presence.” Thus, this is a strategy document for internal strategic use. References to “your company” are appropriate in some places but can usually be avoided without altering the sentence’s meaning. First and second person pronouns (Iand you”) are mostly inappropriate.

Audience Perspective: Your audience is your paying superiors, so you should use an appropriate tone and assume you have a burden of proof. They will want to see evidence of your competence.

regional overview page painting a vivid picture in the reader’s mind of the economic situation of the region and current events, particularly as it applies to the company and industry. Effective regional overviews will blend together some of the following:

  • – a very quick overview of geographic and historical basics up to the current situation;

  • –  about four quickly explained considerations for businesses ignorant of the region to learn (or

    stereotypes to defeat/explore);

  • – the current business climate and economic health;

  • –  and intra-regional culture, cooperation, competition or conflict (a paragraph at most unless it is a

    defining feature of the region).

    Focus on the region’s business-attractive offerings. Your client already decided to have an increased presence in the region, so you might as well focus on the positives, opportunities, and rewards.

 * Needs to be APA style.

* Professor suggested to use the following for region and country-specific sources, use:

  • CIA World Factbook
  • Business Source Premier database (country analysis in the second box)
  • World Bank Open Data
