Writer Perspective: You are outsiders working closely with an established company. Your task is to recommend the best region for your company to have an “increased presence.” Thus, this is a strategy document for internal strategic use. References to “your company” are appropriate in some places but can usually be avoided without altering the sentence’s meaning. First and second person pronouns (“I” and “you”) are mostly inappropriate.
Audience Perspective: Your audience is your paying superiors, so you should use an appropriate tone and assume you have a burden of proof. They will want to see evidence of your competence.
regional overview page painting a vivid picture in the reader’s mind of the economic situation of the region and current events, particularly as it applies to the company and industry. Effective regional overviews will blend together some of the following:
