It should answer the simple prompt. dont worry about trying to relate it to readings or lectures just give an impression for the first paragraph, and then answer the second question about picking characters.

“For the next class, please come prepared to discuss your general impression of this week’s Odyssey reading (Books 1-8) as an ancient text. Think of the ways—if at all possible—that they might relate to the other readings and the lectures, as well as to your own prior knowledge.
More specifically, I would also like you to pick one of the two characters of either Odysseus or Telemachus and be prepared to give us one thing you found worth mentioning about either the characters themselves or a section of the poem in which they are featured.”
