PART 1: Concept Development
Objec ves:
- Import and create a topographical model using the provided CADD files.
- Using your precedent analysis, and the project descrip on brief, develop concepts for you pavilion design. Think about how you want people to interact with your design, how your design will interact with the site, as well as size.
- Using the massing tool, create massing diagrams that communicate your design concepts in 3D. Use colors, symbols and different line weights to show hierarchy within your diagrams.
PART 2: Massing Model Design
Objec ves:
- Create a massing of your pavilion design on the site. Use colors and different line weights to show hierarchy within your massing model.
- Your massing should show basic forms for par cular elements of your design. Openings, floors, stairs, roof forms and major important elements should appear in the massing model. The massing model does not need to show materials, or detailed elements.
PART 3: Presentaon
Objec ves:
- Create a presenta on in revit using the 24×36 template from blackboard.
- Use your concept diagrams, massing model and text to create the presenta on. Create (2) 3D perspec ve views, (1) floor plan, (1) site plan, (1) sec on, (4) eleva ons of your final massing design to include in your presenta on. Use colors and different line weights within your massing model to communicate your design. All floor plans, sec on views and eleva ons should be at 1/8”=1’ scale. Site plan should be at 1/16”=1’ scale. Be sure to include a descrip on of your project and design in your presenta on.
