Group will prepare a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel 2016 format that includes a visual representation of stock data/prices and trends in your chosen company for the last year. Check out Investopedia’s definition of Trend Analysis to get started.
Each GROUP will research your chosen Fortune 500 company’s stock trends. For example (if you had chosen Microsoft), you can search the Internet for “Microsoft’s stock trends” and check out examples of spreadsheets already created. Use Excel to create/design your own spreadsheet to store the quantitative stock data that you collected, perform calculations related to your stock’s performance by inserting at least three different types of functions, and to produce charts that display the stock trends.
