I’m working on a Psychology exercise and need support.

Discussion Forum 12: Do you think people have more difficulty asking for things they want or asking for things they need? Explain. Why is it that people hesitate to ask for what they want or need?

Imagine working with one of the teenagers of the FSI family regarding needs vs. wants. Summarize how you would work with him/her using the techniques from this lesson.

Discussion Forum 13: The authors and the videos discuss ways to plan and set goals. Using the methods from the lesson (including “SMART”), discuss how you would help Grandma and the two teenagers identify goals and plan for a positive future. Provide an example goal and explain how it meets the SMART criteria.
