Jimi Hendrix playing “Wild Thing” at Monterey Pop, 1967 (photo by Eddie Caraeff)
Superb documentary by Bob Smeaton (2013) with extensive concert footage (in excellent sound) that capture the meteoric path of the late great Jimi Hendrix. For extra credit, you can write a short essay that summarizes the main points described in Jimi’s career (i.e., his 1967 US appearance at Monterey Pop, shown here), lists at least five songs performed, and mentions at least three famous people interviewed about him. Hint: that must include at least one Beatle!
