I’m working on a writing question and need support to help me understand better.
Option #1: Write a paper explaining how you believe your race has influenced your life (opportunities, choices, friends, church, politics, identity, how you see other races, etc.) You might think about how your life would be different if you were a different race.
Option #2: Write a paper describing an incident of racism that you either saw or experienced. Analyze the causes and effects of the racism in this incident.
Option #3:WARNING: This option will expose you to offensive material. The purpose of this option is to make you aware of the existence of white supremacist groups today. Look online or in the phone book (usually under “Political Organizations”) for a connection to the KKK or another racist organization. Call the number (usually a recording) or visit the site. Write a paper about your experience.
