Life is priceless. It is so incredibly frustrating to me that in this country, insurance companies and or programs get to dictate what a life is worth. Insurance companies are often very specific and selective with their coverage, which can result in very high and in many cases unaffordable out of pocket costs to the average American citizen. The system in this country is broken. As touched on in the video, we have only to look at other countries, such as France, to see a model for a better system (Films Media Group, 2010).
