Imagine you are tasked with developing a sexual health campaign for SFU campuses. The goal is to improve sexual and reproductive health for students. You get to choose the topic that you believe is most important to students, drawing on your knowledge and expertise about sexual and reproductive health. It may be any topic related to sexual and/or reproductive health that is relevant to the demographic of university students. Pick only ONE specific goal/topic.

For this project, students must submit a paper that describes an important topic related to sexual or reproductive health and then propose an intervention or campaign that they believe would have a significant and positive impact on the health of  students. It is expected that students will clearly and comprehensively: 1) justify their topic selection (i.e. why is this topic important to university students) and, 2) describe how the intervention/campaign could have a positive impact on sexual and reproductive health of students (based on critical thinking and on research/literature).

This paper will be approximately 800-1000 words (approximately 3 (max of 4) pages, double spaced). Students will be expected to incorporate academic references (peer-reviewed journal articles, books and/or reputable reports) in order to justify why they selected their specific issue/topic and why their suggested approach may have a positive impact on sexual and/or reproductive health. All citations should be appropriately incorporated in-text and the reference style should follow either APA or MLA format

Be creative and have fun!

Notes for students: It is recommended that students will include a minimum of 5 academic references (i.e. peer-reviewed journal articles or published books); students will receive reductions in their marks for not providing this minimum requirement. There is ZERO tolerance for plagiarism. Please see the SFU library for tutorials and guidance for proper references and citation
