A successful final draft of any paper should be the product of brainstorming, outlining, and writing multiple drafts. This assignment will prepare you for the Final Paper in Week 6 and allow you to become acquainted with the resources in the Ashford Writing Center. Ashford Writing Center is a free service to students, offering writing resources, live chat support, and feedback on paper submissions.
Purpose: The primary goal of this assignment is to engage you in a paper review and revision process with the support of a writing specialist. The outcome of this assignment is a draft of the Final Paper due in Week 6.
- Must be six to seven double-spaced pages in length (not including the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
- Must include a title page with the following:
- Title of paper
- Student’s name
- Course name and number
- Instructor’s name
- Date submitted
- Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
- Must include a draft of the following sections:
- Workforce Planning
- Talent Sourcing
- Talent Selection
- Onboarding
- Employee Development and Engagement
- Performance Management
- Succession Planning
- Talent Retention
- Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
- Must use at least three scholarly sources, in addition to the course text.
