  1. Imagine you are the HR manager of an organization (Please use your current employer, a previous employer, a family member’s employer, a local business, or a national business you can research). You have been asked to hire a consultant for a major project that involves a new IT system that will impact all non-supervisory employees. (Purchasing, payroll, etc.) Implementation of the new system has an aggressive timeline but it is also important that performance levels stay up. Organizational leadership would like to see an Organizational Development plan, and for you to assess whether an internal or external OD consultant should be used.

Create a report that details the consulting relationship you are looking for, and how that person can best contract with the organization.

Write an approximately 1,050-word report that includes the following components:

·Summary of your thinking on the pros and cons of internal and external consultants.

·Recommendations for how to address the organization’s concerns related to the aggressive timeline and how to keep performance up during the process.

·Recommend the best option for choosing a consultant, including your rationale for selecting this option

·Your recommendations for how that person can best contract with your company.
