Find a video or article talking about the use and/or benefit of the following items:
1. Types of Adaptive Feeding Equipment
2. Dressing sticks
3. Long handle Reacher
4.Long handled sponge
5.Zipper Aid
6.Button Aid
7. Sock Aid
Take a survey of your work environment and answer the following questions:
- Which types of items do your residents frequently use?
- Can you identify residents/clients that could benefit from one or more of these devises to improve their independence?
- If so, Which ones and how would the device (s) help?
- If not, what are the other services/equipment that could improve or help maintain independence other than those listed above for your residents/clients?
