Make up examples to use in every Sections.
Read Chapter 2 of How People Learn: Bridging Research and Practice (make sure you skip to chapter 2). Write a paper that includes the following three sections:
- Section I. One full page. Find two learning/teaching/classroom aspects of the reading with which you agree. Explain these aspects and illustrate them using specific examples from your consulting experience this semester.
- Section II. One full page. Find two learning/teaching/classroom aspects of the reading with which you disagree. Explain these aspects and illustrate why you disagree using specific examples from your consulting experience this semester.
- Section III. One half to one full page. Explain one learning/teaching/classroom tip that is not mentioned in the paper. Illustrate the tip using specific examples from your consulting experience this semester.
The paper is worth 100 points.
- Section I and Section II are each worth 40%. Section III is worth 20%. A section will be graded based on its insightfulness, clarity and organization.
- Grammar and Spelling. For each grammar or spelling mistake that is found, 4 points will be deducted.
- Logistics. You must adhere to the following requirements or you will receive no credit:
- The paper should be typed.
- None of the three sections should exceed one page.
- A 10 point font should be used with 1.5 line spacing.
