The intent of this project is for you to conduct a thorough literature review of a typical design and construction of any of the above two options of trusses.

Do a thorough literature review of the trusses of your choosing from the above options. Describe the history, features, applications, and limitations if any. Compare them.
Design and Construction
Discuss design and construction of the trusses, found in literature using the six-step design process you learned in your engineering mechanics
Define the problem to be solved.
- Acquire and assemble pertinent data.
- Identify solution constraints and criteria.
- Develop alternative solutions.
- Select a solution based on analysis of alternatives.
- Communicate the results.
Presentation
You will do a 10 to 15-minute PowerPoint presentation of your project.
