Technology and your ten-year plan
The report and presentation will ask you to complete several sections listed below:
1. Introduction and selection of your targeted hospitality job in 2030 (1 page). (My target job is event manager at a hotel or resort)
2. Describe in detail the duties required for event management at a hotel or resort. (1 page)
3. Describe key elements of technology currently required to excel at the event management. Focus on the top 5-8 pieces of technology you will need to master. (5 pages)
4. What does the future hold? Investigate what you think the next wave of technology, list top five pieces of technology that you can see on the horizon. Get creative, do you research, and really think about the future. It is not a problem that your ideas are currently not in existence. Please think outside the box. (5 pages)
5. Create a conclusion for your paper (1 page)
Your final project will consist of two (2) parts.
The first part is a 10-12 page report, double spaced in 12 point font.Include a minimum of five (5) sources.Two of the sources must be non-web based such as a trade journal, magazine, text book, or other reference.All sources must be cited.
