For this assignment, you will write a 1-2 page proposal for the research paper, which is due at the end of Module 7. Your proposal must also include a bibliography with three sources.
The template will prompt you to choose a specific region to research. It would be best if you chose a limited region with specific boundaries. If at all possible, the region needs to be personally significant to you in some way. Your proposal must include three scholarly sources that correspond to the three content requirements of the final paper.
Review the instructions and rubric before you begin. Download and fill out the provided template. Save this document and submit it through the Topic Proposal/Bibliography link in Module 2.

“The bibliography portion of the assignment includes three scholarly sources in Turabian format—one for each content requirement of the final paper. Below each source, writes at least one sentence explaining how the source will benefit your specific project.
The first source must be a college-level book that addresses the Jacksonian Era history of your region. The second source must be a college-level book or scholarly article that provides context on your chosen course theme. The third source must be a college-level book or scholarly article that connects your chosen course theme to your specific region. Note that the first source on the Jacksonian Era history of your region cannot be an article or website—it must be a book.”
