In 250 words or less, describe the political and social context of your controversy. What is at stake? What would probably happen if Side A “wins”? How about Side B? Use a different authoritative source for this portion of the assignment (no Wikipedia, about.com, etc.)

My topic that this assignment should be written on is the role genetics play in addiction. I am interested in learning how much genetics really do play into the possibility of you becoming an addict. Of course availability and personal choice play the largest role in one becoming an addict but I think it’s important to also research deeper than that.
