Part 1 (20 pts) Write a 2- page essay with three parts:
– Describe a historical engineering disaster (other than those covered in the AEE 1201 lecture slides, and
it doesn’t have to be aerospace-related)
– Describe an ethical principle identified in the NSPE Rules of Practice that was violated and that
contributed to causing that disaster. (Don’t just list an answer, justify your answer.)
– Describe an equivalent ethical failure that one might see as an engineering student.
Part 2 (10 pts) Resolving Difficult Ethical Issues
