HIST 111 NYU French Revolutions & its Possible Ramifications From Readings Ques

In the readings and documentaries for this week in Blackboard, you get an understanding of the complexities of the French revolutions and its possible ramifications for other movements across the world (think U.S. for example). Ill regardless, Haiti was at the time a French colony and it also went thru its own process. The question that you need to answer in your paper #1 is: What are the ramifications of the French revolution, how does this tie into the readings provided (this week and week 1 when you defined a revolution), and why did Haiti have to fight for their independence from France (which was headed by a revolutionary government). What happened to Haiti upon achieving its independence/revolution? What ramifications does the French and Haitian Revolutions (think Slavery) have for future revolutions?
