Part 1: Initial Post
Introduction
“Attention was shifted away from religion and toward secular issues, and focused instead on the individual’s role in society.”
In this week’s lecture, I talked about 18th-colonial America, discussing more specifically, the role of Enlightenment ideas on colonial society, culture, politics and economy. You will recall the above statement from an early slide in my lecture.
For the Post
- In a short paragraph (3-5 sentences), summarize my lecture, or in other words, how I prove the above argument.
- Then, recalling the lecture and the readings for this week, provide 3 pieces of evidence/examples that support what you write in your paragraph.
