I’m working on a writing multi-part question and need an explanation to help me learn.

OST ONE
As a Personal Introduction, explore self-selected stories from the the MOTH radio program:
https://themoth.org/stories
1. Provide a link to your favorite story, and your narrative response to the following prompts:
What performative techniques or tools did the storyteller use to draw in the observer/listener? Specifically, reference the points of affiliation and transportation or when and why you were transported by or caught in the story. What feelings or sensations did this story evoke? How did your connection to this story relate to the Gottschall’s reading/ TED talk?
2. Niles suggests the embodied nature of stories, or narratives, are a central part of the human experience, and Tolkien describes folklore as a process rather than an object of study. Discuss the process by which humans acquire and express folklore. Compare and contrast the cultural context for the performance of the Navajo Dream joke and German joke from the Tolken reading, OR one of these jokes with a culturally specific joke of your own choosing (please keep this choice appropriate). What kinds of things do you “need to know’ to find each of these jokes “funny”? Please give specific culturally meaningful details.
(2.5 pages, 12 pt Times New Roman font, double spaced. Please include additional source page referencing source readings and MOTH story appropriately cited)
