Read the Pleasant Manor Case Study. Imagine being the administrator of Pleasant Manor. Given the recent increase in competition and changes, you have been tasked with recruiting a talented and experienced marketing manager.
In a 2–3-page APA paper, write your approach to the hiring and recruiting process. The new marketing manager will be in charge of promoting the facility and its services as well as improving the facilities image and brand within the community. The manager will also work closely with the admissions staff to ensure that referrals to the facility are being handled properly. Consider the leadership theories and leadership models from the readings this week as well as this position of a leadership role.
Write a job description and a recruiting advertisement for the position and attach them as an appendix to your paper.

Read Carney’s article “How Commitment and Involvement Influence the Development of Strategic Consensus in Health Care Organizations: The Multidisciplinary Approach.” Then consider the Pleasant Manor Scenario and discuss how the leadership at Pleasant Manor failed to properly track trends that ultimately led to their slowdown. Discuss what strategies or concepts they could have used to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
