Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, over successive years, there were a number of laws put into place to protect the United States and assure that we are prepared for natural or human-made events.
In the required text, Chapter Two, Pages 60 – 62 provides a summary of a number of the health protection and preparedness activities that comprise a massive operation to deal with any natural or human-made threats.
