In our readings, we reviewed informed consent and patient decision aids (PDA) to enhance informed consent. For this option, you have been asked to create a patient decision aid in the form of an infographic for a tonsillectomy. In this infographic, be sure to address:
- Describe the health condition or problem
- Explain treatment options, including non-treatment
- Compare and contrast the positive and negative ramifications of each option in a balanced manner
