The aim of this work consists of writing a medical case analysis based on the given case. After that, please write a medical case analysis which follows this format:

  • Title Page
  • Table of Content
  • Content of the paper requirements: 3 pages double space and font #12
  • Illustrations (at least 4 illustrations, adequately references and relevant to the case)
  • Reference Page (at least 4 references)

The content of the paper should follow this format:

  • Introduction (1 paragraph)
  • Main Text (3 pages)
  • Conclusion (1 paragraph)

The main text should approach the following subjects each in a different paragraph:

  • Explain why you chose the topic and its relationship with the material covered in this course:
  • Concept: a short paragraph that summarizes the medical condition.
  • Causes: What are the causes of the medical condition?
  • Symptoms and signs Symptoms: What the patient refers to the Doctor.
  • Signs: What the Doctor sees, measure or listen with instruments and maneuvers.
  • Diagnosis: Tools used to arrive to the diagnosis (MRI, RX, Lab…)
  • Treatment
  • Prognosis
  • APA, 3 Pages, Double Spaced, Times New Roman, Medical paper (requires academic vocabulary)

To give you some help, the differential diagnosis in this case are the following: myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy, polymyalgia rheumatica, polymyositis and dermatomyositis. The most likely diagnosis in this case is Cushing syndrome caused either by ectopic ACTH secretion or iatrogenic corticosteroid usage.
