You will have a final project due at the end of the last module. This project will cover your understanding of the overall content presented in this course. For your final assignment, you will choose one of three topics and write an essay as described:
- How is psychology applicable to your chosen profession?
- Consider inter and intra-personal relationships, sources of miscommunication such as culture, values, and biases, and better understanding the people you serve.
- Describe an issue of global concern.
- Explain how psychology is related to this issue.
- How can psychology promote outcomes that can either alleviate or eliminate this particular issue?
- Choose an area of your life: personal, academic, professional, or global.
- Reflect on topics from at least three (3) modules and discuss how learning about certain concepts has benefited you in regard to those areas.
Instructions:
- You may utilize the given outlines for each topic if you choose to. They are only meant to be a suggestion of how the paper should be laid out.
- You will need to include at least three outside references for your paper. This can include but is not limited to, the textbook from this course or any materials used within it. You are encouraged to look outside of your course materials for sources. A source can be an excerpt, a journal, a website, a video, etc. Be sure that your chosen sources are reputable.
