–Write the script, 1,000 –2,000 words(but no word requirement), that you will use to during your 3–5 minute video report. e.( note: i will do the video later using the Gap analysis)
–Create and develop a business (and slightly) technical solution to meet your business requirements statement For the technicalpart of yoursolution:As you are doing your interviews and observations, take note of any computer systems they are currently using. Also ask your client and people you’ve met if they’ve heard of any applications that others in their line of work use. When you get to this step, research the systems and companies on that list by visiting their web site and looking for the processes or features that their app provides. If you’re striking out, ask me!
For the purpose of this course, you should choose either a cloud app ora COTS (commercial off the shelf) app for your client. Do not plan on coding a new application from scratch, use what’s already out there.
For the business process part of your solution: take all you’ve learned in your gap analysis and redraw the “as is” process model to be the proposed “to be” process. For your report, you’ll need to highlight (perhaps literally, with yellow shading or red circles or something) what the changes you’ve made are. Pro Tip: if you can, just copy and make changes to the“as is”process model you’ve developedto make the “to be” process model.
Prepare all of your work so far to present to your team. Post your presentation (writing, process models) on your group site for your team members to review. whatever you post should be clear and easily understood.
