Griffith and Goodwin (2013): Communication Case Study

After reading Ch. 6 in Griffith and Goodwin (2013), in no less than three pages, please address the following case questions from “Case: Listening at Different Levels” (p. 105): “In each situation, Joe is challenged to provide the appropriate response to show that he is listening. Consider each of these situations and, for each, discuss the following questions: (1) What message is the individual giving through his or her words and actions? (2) What might Joe do or say to show that he is hearing content (Level II)? (3) What might Joe do or say to show that he is hearing feelings (Level III)? (4) What more can Joe do to encourage the other party to share more so that he can truly understand what the party is truly thinking and feeling? Please be as specific as possible in your responses and provide concrete suggestions for how Joe might respond to each situation.”

Your paper should be in APA style, with a Title and References page. At minimum, you should cite the class textbook and at least two other academic sources to support your claims. No Abstract is needed.
