- Describe audience you serve, any special or unusual needs they face and why they rely on your organization. Cite the number of people reached through your organization
- Organization’s structure, programs, leadership and special expertise.
- Size of the board, how board members are recruited, and their level of participation.
- Number of full time and part time staff in the organization as a whole, the kinds of activities in which your staff engage and their level of expertise
- Function of volunteers, if applicable
- Budget: You are not likely to have the information you need to include a full budget. Note any specific information you encourage the organization to include in the budget section, and any particular messages you encourage them to use.
- Conclusion
- Call attention to the future and the results of the project.
- Make a final appeal for the project, reiterating what the organization will do and why it is important, and what the funder’s support will allow you to do
