Like a compass, levels of evidence (LOE), in other words evidence hierarchy ranks, is based on precision, strength, validity, a core principle of EBP addresses applicability to patient care, and highly developed values system. LOE, described in 1979 by the Canadian Task Force on the public health examination, (Burns et al, 2012) serves as a guide to point you in the right direction when you are lost. Guidelines precisely addresses different clinical question accurately on the basis of etiology, screening, prognosis, diagnosis and intervention. (NHMRC, 2009). For instance randomized or controlled trail (RCTs) often used in systematic reviews /meta-analysis, can provide and evidence based answers to therapy, prevention, and diagnosis question type or domains, but not always.
