Schools vary in the resources that are available to students, teachers, and school personnel for the creation of education and career action plans (ECAP). For this assignment, consider the different college and career resources that may be available to you as a school counselor.

Create a 10-15 slide digital presentation for the entire freshmen class, and include the following:

  • How the ECAP (or another similar tool) will contribute to preparing students for graduation.
  • How the ECAP is used to assist students in determining individual career goals.
  • Technology that could be used to provide high quality school counseling to students in career and lifestyle planning .
  • Strategies to promote college readiness and access , and facilitate post-secondary transitions that are ethical and culturally relevant.
  • Community resources and referral sources that promote post-secondary college and career transitions .

The digital presentation should include presenter’s notes, title page, and reference slides, and be supported by 3-5 scholarly resources. The digital presentation should include graphics that are relevant to the content, visually appealing, and use space appropriately.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
