The British government has a weekly meeting in their House of Commons where the Prime Minister must answer questions from all the opposing parties as well as their own. This would be the equivalent of the President going to the House of Representatives and answering Democrats and Republican questions live on TV.
Goto CSPAN , BBC, UK Parliament page or youtube and find a UK Prime Minister’s Questions clip. These occur every Wednesday but feel free to find a couple of different clips if you want to see. I find it interesting to skip a few years between clips to see different PM’s styles.
How well does this seem to work? What are some advantages to this process? Should the U. S implement it? Could recent Presidents of the United States hang?
300-400 words should do it
