Write about 1000 words. Must include all the information the topic required. I received 0 last time because last tutor did not do it. I will provide the account and password to access the book for the part 4.
1. Find an article no more than 1 week old in a credible newspaper (New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun). DO NOT use a blog, even if it is attached to a newspaper. Blogs are there to promote the author’s viewpoint, they are not intended to be viewpoint neutral. Blogs will be labeled as such. DO NOT use Huffington Post – which is a very liberal on-line publication.
2. You must provide a weblink to the article, so I can read it too.
3. In the first paragraph provide the title of the article, date it was published, paper it was published in and the author’s name. Also summarize what the article is about.
4. In the body paragraphs (at least two) make connections from the article to at least 4 chapters in our textbook. Provide the chapter number and title and include at least four appropriate vocabulary words or concepts; at least one from each of the four chapters you identified. Make the four relevant vocabulary words or concepts bold face to make them easy to identify. Make sure you tie them to the content of the article, so the connection is clear to me.
5. In the conclusion paragraph tell me about how what you have learned in this course has made or will make you a better and more informed participant in our democracy.
6. Cite using APA format
7. If you use a blog as a source article you will automatically score a zero on this assignment. If you are unsure if your article will work, send me a link to it via email at least 48 hours before the deadline and I will take a look and let you know.
