- For the reading this week, the author speaks from the perspective of a child. Although the child is thought of as a “child” her words are very adult-like; she speaks her mind whenever given the chance. For your response this week, focus on the differences between what Hazel says and what you think the adults hear. How does this differ and if you were speaking with her, what would you say to her? Be sure to include specifics from the reading to support your ideas.
