Your Task: Develop an opening statement to address a health crisis outbreak.

Initial Post

Assume there have been 4 recent cases of meningitis on AU’s campus. As the head of the health center, you are required to address students on this issue in a town hall format.

1. After viewing Dr. Vince Covello’s video on message mapping, draft a message map that would address anticipated concerns from students about the recent cases of meningitis.
2. Draft an opening statement for the town hall meeting that pulls your message map together in a cohesive way and post it to the discussion board. NOTE: Do not include your actual message map in your post, just your opening statement. Be sure that your opening statement includes all the facts needed to communicate your message.
